In the app
Open Profile, then Account & security, then Your data & account, and tap Schedule account deletion. Your account becomes read-only immediately and is anonymised after seven days. Until then, the same screen lets you cancel.

You can delete your account from inside the app, or ask us to do it if you no longer have the app. Either way the same thing happens: a seven-day window to change your mind, then your profile is anonymised and your phone number is released.
تقدر تحذف حسابك من داخل التطبيق، أو تطلب منّا حذفه إذا لم يعد التطبيق لديك. وفي الحالتين يحدث الشيء نفسه: مهلة سبعة أيام للتراجع، ثم يُجهَّل ملفك الشخصي ويُحرَّر رقم هاتفك.
Without the app
Email support@sawa-app.co with the subject "Delete my Sawa account" and the phone number registered on the account. We confirm that you control that number before acting, then schedule the same seven-day deletion and tell you the date.
What happens to your data
Your name, username, photo and bio are removed, your profile is closed, every signed-in session ends, and your phone number is released so it is no longer linked to any account; you can sign up again later as a new person. Wherever you appeared to others, in groups, on contributions and in chats, your place is shown as a deleted member rather than your name. Identity documents submitted for a withdrawal check follow the privacy policy: deleted 180 days after the verification was decided.
What we must keep
Records of completed payments and payouts, including the name and account details attached to a transfer, for the period required by Qatari law and by our payment and banking partners. Plans, groups and split bills that other people took part in stay visible to them, without your identity.
Changing your mind
During the seven days, open the same screen and tap Cancel account deletion, or reply to our email. After the seven days the deletion is final; nothing personal can be restored, and a new account starts from scratch.

افتح الملف الشخصي، ثم الحساب والأمان، ثم بياناتك وحسابك، واضغط جدولة حذف الحساب. يصبح حسابك للقراءة فقط فوراً ويُجهَّل بعد سبعة أيام. وحتى ذلك الحين تقدر تلغي الطلب من الشاشة نفسها.
بدون التطبيق
راسلنا على support@sawa-app.co بعنوان "Delete my Sawa account" مع رقم الهاتف المسجّل في الحساب. نتأكد أولاً أن الرقم بحوزتك قبل أي إجراء، ثم نجدول الحذف نفسه بمهلة سبعة أيام ونبلغك بالتاريخ.
ماذا يحدث لبياناتك
يُحذف اسمك واسم المستخدم وصورتك ونبذتك، ويُغلق ملفك الشخصي، وتنتهي كل جلسات الدخول، ويُحرَّر رقم هاتفك فلا يبقى مرتبطاً بأي حساب؛ وتقدر تسجّل لاحقاً كشخص جديد. وأينما ظهرت للآخرين، في المجموعات والمساهمات والمحادثات، يظهر مكانك بصفة عضو محذوف بدلاً من اسمك. أما مستندات الهوية المقدَّمة لفحص السحب فتتبع سياسة الخصوصية: تُحذف بعد 180 يوماً من البتّ في التحقق.
ما الذي يجب أن نحتفظ به
سجلات المدفوعات والتحويلات المكتملة، بما فيها الاسم وبيانات الحساب المرتبطة بأي تحويل، للمدة التي يفرضها القانون القطري وشركاؤنا في الدفع والبنوك. وتبقى الخطط والمجموعات والفواتير المقسومة التي شارك فيها آخرون ظاهرة لهم، من دون هويتك.
إذا غيّرت رأيك
خلال الأيام السبعة، افتح الشاشة نفسها واضغط إلغاء حذف الحساب، أو ردّ على بريدنا. وبعد انقضائها يصبح الحذف نهائياً؛ لا يمكن استرجاع أي شيء شخصي، ويبدأ أي حساب جديد من الصفر.
